    A very rare Pre-Merger AMG - Now Available! Merce A very rare Pre-Merger AMG - Now Available!Mercedes-Benz 300TE-24 3.4 AMGGerman delivered car. German registration first registered 1st of October 1991. Registered as E34 AMG Kombi. 200 Kilowatt / 271 PS.The S124 3.4 AMG is a rare, pre-merger (independent AMG, before Mercedes absorbed the company) tuner conversion of the W124-generation E-Class estate/wagon, badged as the 300TE-24 3.4 AMG. Engine: AMG took the factory 3.0L DOHC 24-valve M104 inline-six and bored and stroked it out to 3.4 liters, extracting around 200kW/272 hp It came with a factory-style option code — option code 990, denoting the car was destined for its AMG conversion from new, sent to Affalterbach for the work. Visually it got the full AMG body kit — front air dam, side skirts, and rear bumper. The matching numbers engine was thoroughly serviced and runs excellent and makes great power. The 7x14” Alpina wheels have been restored and fitted with new Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres. The brakes have been restored, new rotors in the front, four rebuilt calipers, new pads, hoses and fluid. Furthermore all new filters, fluids, exhaust suspension, diff mount, engine mounts and transmission mount, cap, rotor, sparkplugs, valve adjustment, belt, tie rods and much more. The wheels have been refurbished in the recent past and a great upgrade in the car's stance and appearance has been done: Wheel spacers in the back. In my eyes the only modification the 550 needs.The car was really well taken care of.In 2021 it received a new A/C compressor, new piping and A/C charge. In 2023 the car received a new clutch, 2024 saw a major service with all fluids, filters, countless gaskets and seals. Sold new in the Palermo, Sicily area and first registered on the 23rd of January ‘71 to a certain mr./mrs. Rotelli. The original Sicilian registration (Libretto) is present! The car was completely restored between 2021 and 2023. A complete and all-out restoration. The body was stripped to bare metal and bodywork was replaced where neccesary. A complete repaint in the factory color was performed. A beautiful finish on the outside, engine-bay, trunk and undercarriage. The car was assembled with lots and lots of new parts and the car makes an as new impression. Re-chromed front and rear bumper. New trim all around the body, new trim on the sills and re-chromed taillight roundels. New, clear headlights, new blinkers, new emblems, new gaskets. All new parts, nothing left forgotten. The body has never been repaired and has it's original floors, sills and A-pillars from the factory. Not a car that has been repaired multiple times but one that stayed original thanks to a dry climate and a careful owner. The result is a solid body that's very straight as well. Great panelgaps, original fenders, doors and lids that line up well. The car was completely repainted a couple of years back in Germany - Done to a beautiful and high standard. A mirror finish, very straight and ofcourse painted with all trim off.The quality of the paint is great. The belt-line chrome trim is like new and shining brightly. The chrome around the windows is great and all seals and emblems have been replaced. Straight, shiny bumpers in great condition. Clear headlights, polished taillights make for an impressive E9.
